13. The Higher Education Opportunity Act
The Higher Education Opportunity Act, enacted into law in August of 2008, incorporated new provisions into Title I, Section 133 of the Higher Education Act to ensure that students have timely access to information about course materials at schools that receive federal financial assistance. These provisions set forth the responsibilities of the publishers and the schools, which are effective July 1, 2010. While we recommend that you review the school's requirements with your legal advisor, as a reminder the following is a summary of the school's responsibility for textbook disclosure:
1. The information we collect
